Anti-genocide activists rallied outside Lockheed Martin’s offices in Uniondale, NY throughout the workday on December 9th calling for the company to commit to 5 demands: Halt, defund, invest, disclose, and act.

According to an anonymous communique about the action (below), workers at Lockheed Martin locked themselves inside the building, reportedly out of fear of the demo.

Protest at Lockheed Martin: Demands Delivered

Dec 9th, activists protested from 8 AM to 4 PM at Lockheed Martin in Long Island, NYC. Employees, terrified of accountability, locked themselves inside, refusing to even open the door—forcing protesters to slip demands under it.

This is what complicity in genocide looks like: hiding behind locked doors while profiting off death.

Lockheed Martin arms the Israeli Occupation Forces with F-16s, F-35s, Hellfire missiles, and rockets, responsible for over 186,000 deaths (The Lancet). Funded by $40.34 billion in U.S. taxpayer money, these weapons fuel genocide and apartheid.

Our demands for Lockheed and Nassau County:

1. HALT arms sales to Israel used in genocide and apartheid.

2. DEFUND Nassau’s support for Lockheed’s war crimes.

3. INVEST in ethical jobs, not weapons.

4. DISCLOSE taxpayer-funded Lockheed contracts.

5. ACT: Employees must speak out against genocide.

Take action now. #LockheedArmsGenocide
