Banner drop exposes 2 war profiteers in Brooklyn, NY
Image of banner, provided anon. Alt: Banner hung across from Brooklyn Navy Yard on a brick building with iron-rust green boarded-up windows. Banner reads: Easy Aerial - Suite 610 Building 77. Crye Precision - Unit 252 Building 1288. Mass murderers. Get the fuck out of NYC

A banner singling out the location of Easy Aerial, a drone manufacturer, and Crye Precision, a fatigue manufacturer producing camouflage for the Israeli military was dropped outside the Brooklyn Navy Yard. A week earliee, a separate demo against their operations was organized by Demilitarize Brooklyn Navy Yard, which seeks to pressure Brooklyn Navy Yard landlords into evicting the companies for their contributions to genocide.

The two actions, per DBNY organizers, occurred independently from one another and from separate groups. Both followed a Dropsite News article from September discussing the two companies.

Communique (12/17/24):

Last night, we dropped this banner across the street from two genocidal war profiteers in so-called Brooklyn. Easy Aerial and Crye Precision manufacture drones and other military equipment for the Israeli Occupation Forces, the US military, and the NYPD. By continuing to house these companies, Brooklyn Navy Yard is complicit in their crimes. Brooklyn Navy Yard must immediately evict Easy Aerial and Crye Precision, and fully divest from the military-industrial complex.

Correction: An earlier version of this post confused the dates/timing of each demonstration, stating the banner drop came before the DBNY noise demo. The DBNY demo was on 12/11, and this banner drop occurred roughly a week later.
